New Apersonal release comes from Jules Etienne, the charismatic French producer / composer based in Berlin. Worked in both the club and pop context it ́s a pleasure for us to present you his latest work 'Luftbrücke' under his J.E.P.P moniker.
The EP theme has a historic hue, tracks are named "Palast der Republik", "Luftbrücke" and "Goldman Sachs Building", in the words of the artist "Palast Der Republik is the contrary from Goldman Sachs Building and the connection between them is the Luftbrücke, being one a social center building for the education of the people while the other is a top secret arena of private profit and greed".
Musically "Luftbrücke" has a light modern touch, but relies heavily on the pop charm of the 80s with arpeggiated, swirling synth work and heavenly vocals coupled with a spot-on production.
Remixes comes courtesy of Berlin disco dominions Discodromo and Brazilian based Rotciv, latter known for his excellent productions on labels like Luv Shack and Live At Robert Johnson.
